OSAWATOMIE — An Osawatomie Streetscape tomorrow, an Osawatomie moonscape today. Traffic is winding through one-lane in part of the downtown area as work recently began on the north side of the 500 block of Main Street as a contractor replaces sidewalks, curbs, trees, light poles, parking stalls and repaves the street. Businesses in the block will remain open. The Osawatomie Journal reports the project should be completed in August.
