Imagine if you were a kid, going to school, and not having a playground. Disappointing, right. But, kids at Garfield and Lincoln are eagerly awaiting brand new playgrounds. They are being installed now. The delay has been with the concrete and new turf going in…there just haven’t been enough days without rain to stay on schedule. However, Assistant Superintendent, Josh Robinson, says the wait will be worth it.
He says the playgrounds should be ready for kids to play on in two or three weeks.
