Those wanting to start up an industrial hemp farm may want to know that a draft of regulations for the commercial hemp program in Kansas is now available. The draft is open to public view. It can be found at Industrial Hemp and comments can be submitted there through September 13th all feedback will be considered in revising the regulations before formal adaption. The regulations were developed by the Kansas Department of AG and will be reviewed by several different agencies and be subject to a public hearing before formal adaption.
