As congress returns to Washington former Kansas secretary of state and U.S. Senate candidate Republican Kris Kobach is calling on the Kansas congressional delegation to stand strong and resist any efforts to impose universal background checks on law-abiding citizens he says there is something congress can do
Kobach also opposes attempts to enact any red-flag laws that would strip citizens of their weapons without an opportunity to be heard first. He is running for the senate seat being vacated by Pat Roberts in 2020.
