The franklin county courthouse is suffering foundation and wall damage due to moisture…but the county commission may have found a fairly cheap way to deal with it. A company called reno dry USA has a device that is said to capture certain magnetic waves that reverses the moisture, drying out the building. National technology director Michael Clancy explained that a lot of old buildings are suffering damage.
The technology has been in Europe for 30 years, but just recently migrated to the U.S. the county commission is expected to consider using the system at its next meeting…cost would be around 11 thousand dollars.
