The legalization of marijuana is expected to come up again in the Kansas legislature this session. While there have been advances in legalizing CBD oil and even allowing a certain amount of THC in some products, Franklin county attorney Brandon Jones says he hasn’t heard anything specific about overturning marijuana laws in the state. He says legalized pot isn’t all it’s cracked up to be in states that have legalized it.
He adds that the county attorney office has filed a record number of cases this past year, and he expects that number to keep going up.
