When the news broke last month about the trade deal with Japan which would lower tariffs on U.S. Agriculture exports entering Japanese market, many in the AG industry were thrilled. USDA reporter Rod Bain says the deal may be signed soon.
Secretary Perdue says the Japanese are a major customer for the United States and opening the markets to that country would be a major boon for AG in the United States.
