The man accused of shooting his neighbour after an argument in Garnett Sunday afternoon has formally been charged. David Osler is being held in the Anderson County Jail on charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated burglary and criminal threat. His bond has been set at 10 million dollars cash surety.
Police were called to the 1300 block of South Walnut Street in Garnett just before 4 Sunday afternoon on reports of a shooting. They found Robin Durand suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Anderson County Hospital with life threatening injuries. According to the Anderson County Review, a family member said the injuries were serious but survivable.
