BALDWIN CITY — The Baker University percussion ensemble will present “Celebrate Percussion” May 1 at Rice Auditorium to mark the group’s fifth anniversary. Admission is free and open to the public. Former students will return for the alumni percussion ensemble and perform one of their favorite selections, “Taiko,” by Scott Harding. The event will include guest performances by Wyoming University percussion professor Steve Barnhart, a former Baker professor, and Kansas State percussion professor Kurt Gartner.
