The 60th anniversary of the Lake Garnett Sports Car Races will be celebrated this weekend at Lake Garnett with the return of the Lake Garnett Gran Prix Revival. Spectators can expect to see vintage Corvettes, Shelby GT’s and Jaguars thundering around the lake, while more agile Austin Healeys, Lotus, and triumphs carve up the challenging corners. The revival has become one of the premier vintage and sports car events in the region. Admission is free all weekend, and the public is encouraged to come out and watch as the cars go through the paces. There will be a showing of the card in downtown Garnett and people will have the chance to take a ride in the classic cars.
