OTTAWA — County administrator Lisa Johnson said the state will let bids on May 19 to pave the gravel part of Montana Road between the city limits and the new U.S. 59 interchange. Because of the sharp increase of traffic, the gravel road has taken a beating. Johnson and county commissioners said they’ve received plenty of calls from motorists about the condition of the road. The stretch of road will be paved by the fall.
