The 61st annual Maple Leaf Festival will be held this weekend in Baldwin. Over 30,000 people are expected to visit hundreds of vendors and food booths offering everything you can possibly imagine. Maple Leaf Festival Committee Chairman Mike Curran says the parade will be a long one.
The country music will be free and live all day today. The Maple Leaf Guild Quilt Show runs all weekend. Events include the big parade at 11 and the hundreds of vendor booths open until 5 this afternoon, and don’t forget the carnival, it’s open until 6 tonight. The Arts and Crafts Fair continues and there will be tours of historical areas around the community.
