BALDWIN–If you live in Baldwin, prepare to pay more for your electricity. The Baldwin City Council is considering a rate increase from 6 to 12%. The Council learned that last year, the city electric department lost money, with expenses outpacing revenues by $170,000. Without a rate increase, the Council was told the electric department will likely lose money again this year.
