OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department dealt with several reports of thefts. The department received a report Sunday of a burglary in the 4500 block of Woodson Road north of Wellsville. The property owner told a deputy that the burglary occurred in late February. The loss was estimated at about $1,750. Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a Williamsburg convenience store in the 400 block of John Brown road early Saturday morning. Burglaries broke into the building on the northwest corner, deputies said. Less than $500 worth of property was stolen. There was some damage to property that occurred during the break-in. A tiller was stolen from an open-sided shed in the 3200 block of Finney Road east of Princeton sometime before the weekend. A Wellsville man reported that someone stole his bass-shaped mailbox in the 4100 block of Shawnee Road sometime Friday evening. A Williamsburg man reported that someone ripped the spark plug wires off his 1997 Ford Taurus in the 1200 block of California Road Friday evening.
