COLONY — Two Crest students have been elected as two of the six district FFA officers. Tessa Louk and Trevor Holman were elected secretary and treasurer of the East Central FFA District, which has 26 high schools. Both Louk and Holman are juniors at Crest. They will help present workshops for the 2010 Greenhand conference, organize district contests and host the district banquet. It’s the first time in seven years that Crest has had someone elected as a district officer, Crest FFA advisor Jon Pretz told the Anderson County Review. It’s also the first time Crest has had two district officers at the same time, Pretz said.
