Have you ever thought of allowing a company to install a wind turbine or solar panels on your property? How much money would you make? An informational meeting sponsored by the Franklin County Farm Bureau provided at least partial answers to those questions. Wyndee Grady is an attorney with Kansas Farm Bureau. She told a crowd at Neosho County Community College what to expect.

Grady says to consult a private real estate attorney if you ever consider leasing your land for wind or solar power. The Franklin County Commission also adopted a set of zoning regulations for renewable energy at this morning’s county commission meeting.
