A new burn permit policy in Franklin County is meeting with a little bit of skepticism, but Franklin County Emergency Management Director Allan Radcliff says that the daily permit will allow the county to see who and what is burning in the area.
Radcliff says the permit is easy to complete. Access the county website, click on emergency management and then on the left hand side click on burn permit. If you don’t have internet access, you can still call or come by the office and staff will walk you through the process.
