There are some things as a kid that you just didn’t know, and that certainly applies to Franklin County Administrator Derek Brown. At the recent health summit in Ottawa, Brown had a story to tell when he grew up in Richmond, Kansas.
And with Thanksgiving this week, Brown says part of having a healthy population is educating parents on the need to eat a balanced nutritious diet. Both for themselves an their children.
