The Christmas spirit in Ottawa goes into full swing tonight with the Mayors Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. It’s a full evening of activities beginning with cookie decorating and crafts sponsored by camp chippewa at 5:30 this afternoon. Spot Light Dance Academy will perform in Haley Park , and Phil Messenger will read “A Christmas Story” to the children.
There will be all kinds of giveaways, including Chamber currency and two bicycles given away by Arvest Bank. And kids, don’t forget, Santa will be making his arrival to Ottawa tonight!
