We all know that the roads in Franklin County took a beating the past year with the extreme cold and repeated heavy rains and flooding. First year county public works director David Lee and his department has been inundated with a flood of complaints and concerns from people wanting to know what is taking so long to get the roads back to normal. However, County Administrator Derrick Brown supports Lee and says this year has been far less than normal.
He added that public works is working tirelessly to repair the roads and that full repair of all the roads may take many months.
