Fire crews are on the scene of a major structure fire at 4512 Pawnee Road. That’s just north and west of the K-68 and K-33 intersection. The call came in at 3:32 this morning and when first responders arrived, they found the back side of the modular home fully engulfed in flames. Crews from several rural fire districts have responded to the scene as well as Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies and Franklin County EMS. Reports indicate that the fire did spread to the rest of the home and fire crews are still working on getting the fire out. Three people were in the house at the time of the fire, along with multiple dogs. All have gotten out safely. The Red Cross has been called to the scene to assist the family.
Again, if you are out traveling this morning, be aware of a large presence of emergency vehicles and personnel on scene of a major structure fire at 4512 Pawnee Road. You may have to adjust your route if you usually travel through that area.
