The Ottawa Recreation Commission partners with the Ottawa School District in many areas, and that includes maintaining cars. The ORC doesn’t actually work on cars, but as ORC Director Chad Bruner told the Ottawa School Board, students are learning about car basics.
Bruner says the ORC also employs quite a number of Ottawa School students, including in such positions as groundskeepers and life guards.
