OTTAWA — Two more people have filed for the Franklin County Commission. Ottawa small business owner Mark Evans has filed for the 4th District, which covers southern Ottawa and southern Franklin County. As a Republican, he’s challenging Commissioner Don Hay for the GOP nomination. Terry Johnson, Rantoul, is the first Democrat to file for the commission. He is the first person to challenge Commissioner Don Stottlemire in the 5th District in eastern Franklin County. Both Evans and Johnson filed by petition.
