GARNETT–Want to eat vegetables grown by your child? Better get them in a “Growin Gardeners Camp” in Garnett. The camps are May 26-28 and June 9-11 from 2 to 4 each day. The camps are for youths who will enter 5th grade this fall to those who have just completed 6th grade. The cost is $20 per child. Participants will bring home a large pot in which they have planted a tomato, a cucumber and a pepper. They will also learn other gardening skills.
