CAIRO, Egypt — A National Guard soldier from Ottawa has won Soldier of the Year honors in the 1st Theater Sustainment Command in Egypt. Specialist Stephen Levins, Ottawa, also received the Iron Warrior Award for scoring the highest on the Army physical fitness test. He is a member of Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 130th Field Artillery of the Kansas National Guard. Another member of the same Kansas National Guard unit. Staff Sgt. Jared Meier, Topeka, won the Top NCO competition.
