LAWRENCE — Two residents from Baldwin City will be among 125 adults attending the Kansas University Mini College. Mark Askew and Theresa Browning will become students at the Mini College May 24-28. Askew and Browning will attend special events and tours along with classes of their choice. About 70 classes offered at the Mini College include “Everything You Wanted to Know About GDP But Were Afraid to Ask,” “Astroparticle Physics on the Kansas Prairie,” “Islam is a Thinking Chick’s Religion: How Muslim Women Can Save Islam,” and “Money Makes the World go ‘Round: Geographies of Global Finance.”
