PAOLA — The Miami County Courthouse grounds is getting a facelift this year. Miami County Extension master gardener Scott Dreiling told the Osawatomie Journal that there will be new sidewalks, plants, signs and landscaping put in on the grounds. That also includes a new grand arbor. Local artist Guinotte Wise is creating a sculpture called “Prairie Grass in the Wind” for the courthouse grounds.
