DECATUR, Alab. — The Ottawa University Lady Braves will play their first game in the NAIA national softball championship tonight at 7:30 in Decatur, Alab. Teams at the national tournament will start in pool play today, with the pool winners advancing into the quarter-finals this weekend. The Lady Braves begin pool play against Port Loma Nazarene University of California, a team that has reached the national title game twice in recent years. Other teams in OU’s pool include Mid-American Nazarene, Olathe; and Shorter College of Georgia. KOFO will broadcast tonight’s game live with Tim Burgess doing the play-by-play.
