LAWRENCE–Several area students who attend the University of Kansas at Lawrence have received awards. Lynne Marie Lammers of Ottawa has received the Amsden Book Award for her classroom excellence…she is a Senior majoring in Linguistics. The other students are Britney Barney, a Junior from Louisburg….she received the John David Lentz Memorial Scholarship from the Theater Department. A third student is J.T. Nagle, and he won the Harley S. Nelson Family Scholarship, also from the Theater Department. Nagle is from Osawatomie and is a Junior.
