PLEASANTON — A 70-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was severely injured when when his truck crashed south of Pleasanton in Linn County Sunday afternoon. Kansas Highway Patrol said Gary Showalter was driving north on U.S. 69 when he fell asleep and his pickup went into the center median and rolled over several times. He was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital.
