OTTAWA — County administrator Lisa Johnson told county commissioners Monday she’d like to repave the parking lot at the county annex. The lot is deteriorating and needs to be milled and repaved with asphalt. She said the repair work has been put off for two years but they can’t be postponed much longer. However, County Commissioner Don Hay said the repair should be postponed another year. However, Johnson said tax money wouldn’t be used for the repairs. The county would use rental income from the annex to pay for the project. Killough Construction of Ottawa has submitted the low bid of around $111,000 for the repair work.
