OVERLAND PARK — After many months of public meetings, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment has decided to issue a modified permit that allows APAC-Kansas to keep operating a construction and demolition landfill in Overland Park. APAC must maintain special monitors to keep track of landfill gases.
