OTTAWA — Former Ottawa Main Street director Katy Boothe has made it official, filing for District 1 of the Franklin County Commission this morning. She paid by filing fee. Earlier, she had said she planned to challenge Commissioner Sue Farrell. Her filing makes it a crowded Republican primary. Besides her and Farrell, Ron Depriest and Colt Waymire are also seeking the GOP nomination. No Democrats have filed in the district. The deadline for filing is noon June 10.
