After 7 years as Director of the Franklin County United Way, Meg Hooper Pearson is moving to a new job. She will be going to the State Department of Education as the Deputy Director for the Kansas Volunteer Commission. She says although she will be working out of Topeka, you will see a lot of her around Ottawa.
She added that Leigh Hanson will be taking over as Interim Director starting today. Meg says that she is confident that Hanson’s leadership will ensure the United Way will thrive and continue to grow.
