National Drug Takeback day is today. Drug Enforcement Administration Agent Greg Anderson says the twice-a-year program seeks to remove opioids and other prescription drugs from medicine cabinets for environmentally safe disposal. Anderson says the takeback is not limited to drugs.
You can dispose of your unwanted or expired prescription drugs at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office today from 10 this morning until 2 this afternoon.
