OTTAWA — An electrical short at the Old 56 Family Restaurant in southern Ottawa Wednesday morning brought smoke and the Ottawa Fire Department. Fire Chief Jeff Carner said the short occurred above the ceiling in the wiring for the heating and air-conditioning system. The occupants were allowed back. He said there was no other damage.
