OTTAWA — The On the Move for Cancer 5-K run-walk will be Saturday morning at Kanza Park. Early registration is 6:30 a.m. The run-walk is a major fundraiser for the Franklin County Cancer Foundation, said Joanne Cook. The money raised helps cancer patients in Franklin County – 87 last year — and used for a variety of items including supplies and equipment, groceries and gasoline, she said. The run-walk is one of two cancer-related events this weekend. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life begins tonight at 7 at Ottawa High School.
