VASSAR — If exercise does you good, some exercise Saturday morning will do the Vassar Community Center some good as well. The Vassar Community Center 5-K walk-run will be at 8 at Pomona State Park at Pomona Lake. The cost is $20 per person and organizer Walt Peterson said the money will be used to renovate the old Vassar school house, which is now the community center. The park will also host the free annual kids fishing derby Saturday.
