KANSAS CITY — The Goppert Foundation of Kansas City has given $100,000 to Kansas State University’s College of Agriculture. The money will be used for the Goppert Foundation Scholarship in Agriculture. Preference will be given to students from southeastern Kansas in financial need. The Goppert Foundation was established in 1959 by banker Clarence Goppert. His Goppert Financial Corporation owns the Garnett State Savings Bank which has offices in Garnett, Colony, Pomona and Ottawa.
