OTTAWA — The city will open bids Tuesday for repairs to two houses at 1109 N. Mulberry and 812 Pecan owned by ECKAN. City manager Richard Nienstedt said the project, which is financed by federal grants, is designed to get the vacant houses reoccupied as quickly as possible. The winning bidder will make minor repairs to the houses and get them into the hands qualified buyers, he said.
