WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg City Council member Gene Hirt continued his beef Wednesday with the county commission over the county’s refusal to sell his city culverts.
He ran out of time last week and was cut off in mid-sentence. By referring cities to out-of-county suppliers, the county isn’t in much of a position to talk about shopping locally, he said. Commissioners had no response.
