Ottawa saw quite a bit of growth in 2019, from new businesses and events coming to town to a renewed interest in the downtown area, just to name a few. But one area that took off in leaps and bounds was housing. Ottawa Area Chamber President John Coen says they are filling up fast.
He adds that there is the possibility of even more housing going in as developers realize the need and desire for new and affordable housing in the Ottawa area.
