Bridges in Franklin County are always the subject of scrutiny to determine the safety of each one, but the county is taking steps to better track the condition of each bridge. Public Works Director David Lee says a recent inspection is the launching point for a new initiative.
Lee says he hopes to have a system that will target the roads that need the most attention. In other business, the county commission honored a number of employees for their loyal service to the county.
