The 2020 Kansas Legislative session started recently and there are many items to be discussed this session, including taxes, income tax, property tax and food sales tax. Representative Blaine Finch of Ottawa says he is all for lowering the tax on food.
He added that the issue of reducing the tax on food purchases has gained support among Legislators and he expects the issue to come before the House fairly quickly in the session, along with issues like school finance, abortion and more.
