The new Performance Arts Center at Ottawa High School is presenting even more opportunities to students than imagined. Students are being trained to run the audio and lighting board, which is a state-of-the-art Yamaha system used in professional productions. This gives students mastering the system a leg up. Ottawa High Principal Kelly Whitaker explains how.
She adds that eventually they would like to have all shows, plays and concerts run exclusively by students.
