A grand opening this morning of a newly renovated store on Ottawa’s North side is bringing excitement and anticipation to those living in North Ottawa. Ottawa’s North Dollar General store will hold a grand opening this morning, nearly 6 months after being flooded, after 12 inches of rain hit the area on August 1st.
The store has an all new layout with easy to read signage and the food coolers are conveniently located at the front of the store. The first 50 shoppers get a $10 gift card and the first 200 get a tote bag with complimentary samples.
The store held it’s soft opening late last week and has been working out the kinks this past week. Officials at Dollar General Corporate Office says the store will offer a new option for all the people of Ottawa.
