OTTAWA — The city will request federal funds to complete the rest of the Cedar Street rebuild. City public works director Andy Haney said that the city will ask that the project be put on a list of proposed transportation improvements. Previously, the city rebuilt Cedar from First to Eighth. Haney said the second phase would rebuild Cedar from Eighth to 15th. The city faces several storm drainage issues on South Cedar, he said.
