OTTAWA — At Monday’s school board meeting, Ottawa square dance groups asked for a square deal in what they pay to use the Ottawa Middle School for their dances. Supt. Dean Katt said he’s willing to make a deal and he’ll talk to the groups. The school board is always willing to have community groups use school facilities, he said. Katt said he’ll negotiate a rental fee that’s fair to both the dancers and the district.
