The corona virus has not struck Franklin County as far as is known, but Public Health Officials are getting ready just in case. Franklin County Health Department, Midge Ransom, says there’s a lot of uncertainty.
Ransom says the Federal Center for Disease Control would also be involved. Officials in Lawrence say they are handling a suspected corona virus case. Samples have been sent to the Center for Disease Control. Results are expected back soon.
