The Franklin County Visitor’s Center is open seven days a week with varying hours, but that may not always be the case. Tourism officials are studying if the Center should be closed some days to save money. County Commissioner Rick Howard says the expected traffic through the center never materialized.
Officials say if a limited schedule is implemented, the Center would most likely close on Sundays.
